Situated in a rural environment between Autun and Luzy in the southern part of the French region Burgundy.
You find us in the beautiful landscape of the "Parc naturelle régional du Morvan", near the Mont Beuvray, the hill where archeologists work to rediscover the old Celtic city "Bibracte". You can visit the archeological site offcourse (and enjoy the view) by bike, or by feet. Or by car, and decide to walk the last piece or take the free shuttle.
From our house you can choose from a wide variety of walking trails or routes for mountainbikes. There's a trip for everyone: leight, medium or pretty heavy. Would you like to visit vineyard sites or cities, we are located approx. 80 km from vineyard sites like the Pommard, Cote du Beaune, Mercault....etc, and cities like Autun, Câteau Chinon, Avallon,
Beaune, Chalon sur Saðne, Dijon, Moulins en Nevers are nearby also. Also nearby at a 15 km you find the amazing "Temple des mille Boeddhas", the first bigger Bhuddistic Temple in Europe and worth a visit.
During the tourist season you find "vide-greniers" (flea markets) everywhere ... when you know where to look. We always have an updated list of locations! Or you can visit one of the famous Burgundy castles - many are open for public.
But offcourse you want to spend some time in a garden too. You're free to enjoy our 4 ha garden, with lots of seats and a brook nearby "la Braconne", with clean (and cool!) water for you to enjoy.
